I’m ready to buy a house!! What now?

Get pre-approved- it is SO important to talk with a loan officer. You may choose a bank, credit union, or mortgage lender and they will give you the financial starting point you need to select a home you can afford.

Find a licensed real estate agent- Agents know the market, they know the properties, and will help you negotiate to make sure you are paying market value for your home. There are many reputable agents in our area that will be there for you as you purchase your dream home. Remember, in most cases it is the sellers responsibility to pay the real estate agent’s commission, not the buyers. In most cases your buying agent will be paid for helping you buy your dream home from the sellers!
