Simon's Catch- Elk City, OK has new owners!
Elisha Simon bought Bear Creek back in 1993 and built it into Simon’s Catch, a restaurant Elk City has counted on for 33 years. Now Daniel and Sirena Neenan are taking over, starting July 15. Both are U.S. Army veterans and already own Route66 Cafe in Clinton. The staff is staying. So is the menu.
This deal took six months to reach closing day. A sale like this doesn’t come along often in a rural Western Oklahoma market, and putting a fair value on three decades of goodwill isn’t simple. Neither is structuring a deal that protects what one family built while giving the next family a clear way forward. That’s the part that took time.
Here’s to the Simon family and 33 years Elk City won’t forget. And here’s to Daniel and Sirena as they start the next chapter.
