Recap! Hawks win at Home vs. Lake City

Lake City scored three runs in the fourth inning, but the Clinton Middle School Hawks still won 16-3 on Thursday.

Clinton opened up scoring in the first inning, when Aden G was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. The Hawks then tallied five runs in the fourth inning, led by base hits from Brennan Tipton, Jaxon Young, Aden Golden, Easton Gilliam, and Erick Tirado.

JP Robbins took the win for the Hawk on the mound. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out nine and walking one. Easton Gilliam threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Clinton Middle School Hawks racked up 13 hits on the day, including two from 8th grader Brayden Gavin. JP Robbins led the Hawks at the plate with three hits in three at bats.

Clinton Middle School Hawks tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Aden Golden led the way with two.

The JV Hawks took the win as well 8-4. Shoutouts to Xavier Gallaher, Easton Gilliam, Eric Newport, and Bryson Breeden for their amazing Leadership on and off the field, and to Reed White, who came in late with a monster pinch hit to left field.
