🌾Hey, folks! Not only are we celebrating the exciting start of the 2025 season here at The Bloom Farm, but we’re also celebrating a very special milestone—my birthday! It’s been an amazing week, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about what’s ahead.

We would like to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of our loyal customers. Your continued support and trust allow us to do what we love every day. Hard work speaks for itself and it can't be taken from you! Without you, The Bloom Farm wouldn’t be where it is today, and for that, we are truly thankful and blessed beyond measure. 🚧 Recent Project Completion: Tree Removal, Excavation & Site Improvements 🚧

We're excited to share a recent project we have completed as the mowing season approaches. We successfully removing potentially hazardous trees, ensuring the safety of the property. Our team also performed extensive excavation work, including moving material to fill void spaces significantly increasing usable property area. Additionally, we expanded the gravel parking lot, removed old structures, and optimized the space for future use.
⭐️A special thanks to the folks at ECHO USA for their amazing equipment. Here we utilized the ECHO CS-355T and the ECHO CS-590-24 chainsaws for the tree removal.

With the approaching snowstorms and the recent winter weather conditions, including the states of emergency in effect, we want to inform the residents of the town of Clintwood and the Caney Ridge area of Dickenson County that we will be dispatching trucks, skid steers, and tractors to ensure the safety and accessibility of roads during these challenging conditions.

The Bloom Farm has several accounts on Baker Ridge. Each week as we drive by I would always look over and think, "I would love for us to mow that property." Well, that day came to be and I couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out. Baker Ridge is a beautiful place and we're glad to lend a helping hand. Blessed for sure! 🌾Hey, Folks! The Bloom Farm has gained a new member to our Smyth County team! His name is Harley Rose. He was born and raised in the heart of Dickenson County alongside myself. We have been lifelong best friends and we are grateful to have him! Growing up in the coal fields, we were no strangers to hard work and this way of life undoubtedly tempered an ethics and integrity that is all but commonplace in today's society.

He is currently and has been a practicing Registered Nurse for over a decade. His career began as a Medical Intensive Care nurse which was his specialty from 2014 until 2016. He served our region's community in Washington County VA and Tennessee in this capacity and then traveled the country to fill critical staffing shortages. In the spring of 2017 He made the decision to transition into mental health, which is the specialty that he currently practices in. He has had the privilege to serve as a crisis stabilization nurse as well as in leadership positions within our region's state hospital.

He has traveled to psychiatric facilities throughout the country, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, we are guided by the same moral compass, and he was raised on a farm! Agriculture and property maintenance is second nature. Needless to say, he is an invaluable friend and team member and we are excited for what the future holds.

"Of the accomplishments I've achieved, my greatest is undoubtedly being a devoted husband to an amazing wife and proud father of three children. My life's path is a testament to having a servant's heart. It is for these reasons that I believe The Bloom Farm's mission, vision, and values are in line with my own and I couldn't be more humbled, excited, and ready for the opportunity to serve my community in yet another aspect."

🌾🇺🇲This is a follow up photo for a yard we picked up into the season. With several cuts we were able to bring it up to our standards. The story behind this yard is we had reached out to a gentleman about his yard with a vision of what I knew it could be. He informed me that he had been receiving service from an out of town based company and would be thrilled to support local. We were honored to oblige and as the job was finished he said, "Let me go get my putter and we'll play some golf." We take pride in our work and love to help beautify our town. I left knowing Mr. Joe was a happy man so my job was complete. Most of all he served this country and it's the least I could do! A community that thrives together survives together!

🌾It is an honor to be a part of the team for the 53rd Dr. Ralph Stanley Hills of Home Festival. These grounds are legendary for not only bluegrass but American musical history. The festival is an old time bluegrass music tradition started by Dr. Ralph Stanley and continuing today in his honor. We would like to thank Ralph II, as well as his groundsman Lawrence and Fred for allowing us this opportunity. The sound of banjos, mandolins, and voices ringing high on top of some of the most beautiful mountains you will ever see! Our team has everything ready for all the fun this weekend has to offer! Southwest Virginia at it's finest!
