This is the #1 question I get! Many buyers think you need a strict 20% down. Reality check: There are incredible programs out there—including FHA, VA (perfect for Cannon AFB personnel!), and USDA loans—that allow down payments as low as 0% to 3.5%. There are great local lenders who would love to sit and discuss all of the options with you.
