The California Chamber of Commerce issued a statement on June 6, 2025 part of which I forward here. "There's much to like about in the budget related, SBI30. Unfortunately, one provision imposes a mandate on housing developments that would add significant new construction costs-thus leading to few housing units built for California's working families the engine that drives the state's economy forward."

Studies show: Academic achievements become increasingly important during middle childhood as children acquire reading fluency, mathematical problem-solving skills while exploring other subjects like science or history. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) reports that by the end of fourth grade, 37% of students in the United States are proficient in reading and 41% in mathematics. So it is safe to say that by the end of a childs elementary education, they know the difference between re-imagining something and re-defining it. So as easy as it appears to be confused by the misuse of these words, those who purposefully misuse these words are either still at 4th grade level intellectually or think their audience is. I'm just saying! Feel free to share if you know the difference. If you don't then here's a learning opportunity you won't want to pass by. Really!
