My name is D'Auna Lockmiller and I am a full time Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. I am a wife, landlord, Christian, coach, business owner, home renovation guru (aka flipper), and try to be a friend to everyone I meet! e can't all live there right?! Growing up in my parents had rental property and remodeled houses. I remember spending 100 degree summers dragging nasty carpet and trash out to the dumpster. I guess you could say this is where my passion for real estate was established! haha After graduating high school I went to college and got my Bachelors and Masters degrees in education... because summers off are great, right?! I then went to work teaching 3rd grade at the wonderful Zia Elementary here in Clovis. At this time I decided to quit teaching and just be a mom and wife for awhile. Well, everyone that knows me knows that I can't sit still for long (just sitting long enough to type this drives me crazy), so I decided to do something I had always had a craving for and that was to get my real estate license! I jumped in with both feet in 2013. In 2019 I was asked to help run and manage the new Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office in Clovis. Our office truly is the best and made up of great, honest, friendly and knowledgeable Realtors! Since then I have excelled and am proud to say I stay in the top 3 in sales in our office and top 20 in Clovis & Portales. Since getting my license I have found a few areas of expertise that I have really connected with. One is investment property and the other is "flipping" homes! I have learned through the years how to navigate the world of buying REO homes, foreclosures, and buying/selling of short sales. If you ever want to chat about that just call and I can talk for hours and have lots of good stories just like the TV shows. Yes, in little ole Clovis! I also enjoy working with first time home owners and country properties. There’s something special about seeing a person or couple buy a home for the first time ever! I am not perfect and make mistakes everyday, but one thing I am and that is honest. I pride myself on my word. One of my favorite Proverbs is "a good name is better than great riches".... I try to honor that everyday. One thing I learned early on, and not from any class I took, was that people want a realtor they can trust. Thankfully that trust in others has made me successful.
