You are strong-willed, fiercely independent, kind, loving, and one of the hardest-working young women we know. You live boldly within your moral code and stay true to who you are, no matter what. Your circle may be small, but the people fortunate enough to be in it know that you will stand beside them through anything—anytime, anywhere. You would give someone the shirt off your back without a second thought.

We cannot imagine a single day without you in our lives. We are endlessly proud of the woman you have become and beyond grateful that we were chosen to be your parents.

I had the incredible opportunity to sit in a room filled with like-minded industry professionals and listen to one of the most powerful speakers I have ever had the privilege of hearing.

If you’ve never read The Coffee Bean by Jon Gordon and Damon West, I highly recommend setting aside 20 minutes to read it. Yes—it literally takes only 20 minutes. But its message may stay with you for a lifetime.

Hearing Damon share his story firsthand was inspiring, humbling, and deeply moving. He has overcome an extraordinary amount of adversity, yet he has chosen to use those experiences to encourage others and create a positive impact.

The message is simple but powerful: We may not always be able to control our circumstances, but we can choose how we respond—and we can transform the environment around us.

A heartfelt thank-you to CrossCountry Mortgage and the LaVassaur Team for the invitation and the opportunity to attend such an impactful event. I am truly grateful to have been included.

For my mom’s birthday this year, my sister and I decided the best gift we could give her wasn’t something wrapped—it was time together. ❤️

So, we packed our bags and headed back East to visit our grandmother and enjoy a much-needed girls’ trip.

Life has a way of moving so incredibly fast. Between running businesses, raising families, work, responsibilities, and everything else life throws our way, it can be easy to keep saying, “We’ll do it someday.”

This time, we made someday happen.

We laughed, reminisced, explored, slowed down, and—most importantly—spent precious time with the people we love.

This is just a little glimpse into a trip that meant so much more than the places we visited. It was about three generations, family, memories, and time we can never get back.

So incredibly grateful we made the time. These are the moments that matter most. ❤️
