The annual Health Fair was held at Adams Place yesterday and it was a GREAT DAY! I had all of my staff in one location and the residents from Adams and Evans Square came together for the event. A lot of vendors, information, goodies, prizes, food and friendship made it a wonderful event. Thank you to Kristy, Lauren and Wynnie who put this event together. I have a great team and wonderful residents at both properties! Thank you to all who attended!

The residents of Adams Place had the opportunity to meet the new Chief of Police for Cochranton yesterday. His main challenge for the area he said was to not get bored. He shared that there was only two arrests in the last 12 months prior to his arrival. One of our residents (Goldie) offered for him to arrest 25 women all at once and they would willingly go. Never a dull moment!

The Sr. Stitchers at Adams Place found some quilt squares that one of our residents who passed away last year, Jan Collar, had left behind. Together, along with Jan’s daughter, Terri Baker, finished the quilt in Jan’s honor. It turned out absolutely beautiful and was hung in the Community Room for all to enjoy in remembrance of their dear friend, Jan.

2023 Holiday Party for Adams Place Residents! Bring on the New Year!

The residents at Adams Place celebrated the life of their dear friend Jan Collar. They had been busy decorating the community room, bringing in a podium, buying flowers, selecting music, and baking cookies so they could have their very own celebration of Jan’s life. Memories were shared of her friendship; her kindness, her smile, her blueberry muffins, her sewing; her massages; and most of all, her love for God. Thank you to Cochranton Community Church for coming to “our house” to provide the residents with the closure they so badly needed. Jan will be missed ❤️
