So proud of my kiddos! We placed 3rd in the school reading fair.The back story is definitely the most beautiful part 🥰…after reading our book, The Cat Whisperer, we were brainstorming ideas when one of my students suggested using AI to create our board images. I had never used AI before, but my background from the Art Institute of Cali gave me the confidence that I may just want to dive into this. Alas, together we learned AI prompts and free internet resources to use these wonderful tools. Together, we created these images based on our conversations. As an ESE teacher, my kids verbal skills are definitely their strengths. For them to learn how to take a few key words and have a tool like AI materialize that idea into a visual display, now that my friend, is teaching them a valuable skill. Expression is vital in our sense of existence. I’ve taught them, and they have me, a new, easy, free way to take your expression to another level. All people could use a skill like that, ESE kids can change their life with it. That is what I’m most proud of with this project. We also included mixed media for a sensory experience for other kids. You could touch the fur, squeeze the basketball, listen to the kitten talk to Jen, shake the house in the earthquake, feel the dirt on the tombstone, and pet the baby kitty. 🥰🤩Who says you can’t? Don’t believe it! ❤️
