Tom Kammerdener, president and chief executive officer of Aging Matters in Brevard leads the nonprofit organization in its 61st year. Aging Matters in Brevard’s flagship program is Meals on Wheels. Volunteers deliver prepared, nutritious food directly to the homes of individuals who are unable to shop or cook for themselves. The volunteers also do safety checks. Demand for this program is rapidly growing. Businesses and individuals can help by making recurring monthly donations of $5 or more.
