I’m reaching out to you all looking to help my dear friend and her family during this trying time. I’ve known Meshia for over 10 years and our friendship has now turned into family.

Meshia has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. My heart strands were compelled to start this fundraiser because this beautiful 27 year old mom of two boys and loving wife deserves for our friends and family to come together on her behalf.

I’ve witnessed the amount of hard work and dedication that her and her husband Colton pour out into their children and family. Imagine getting adjusted to the transition of having a 2 year old and bringing home a newborn baby boy only to find out 3 months later that you’ve been carrying a cancer throughout the duration of your pregnancy.

This mama bear exudes so much strength and courage and I’m asking that we all rally behind them to make their stress load easier. Although they have health insurance, there’s no way to account for the unexpected costs that are still associated with it, specialist visits, the travel expenses, childcare and medications that are needed during this time.

I’ve watched her handle her visits like a true fighter as they prepare to begin aggressive Chemotherapy. Her faith in God and the love she shows to everyone who comes into her presence is inspirational. Although this journey will be long and difficult, we have the power to eliminate any extra burdens that they may encounter so that Meshia and her family can focus on her health and recovery! I’m speaking great favor over her and asking that anyone who can help please do so.
