NAIOP Midyear Market Update:
Malcolm Butters participated in a robust conversation about the state of the commercial real estate development market in Fort Lauderdale.

Industrial demand and rents remain a bright spot. Sensitive to interest rates, institutional capital sitting on the sidelines, but private equity is now a more entrepreneurial source of capital for new industrial development deals, Butters says.
More good news: Construction costs for new development finally coming down, about 10% off its peak.
Butters predicts industrial rents within the next five years across the tri-county region will grow to $20NNN.
