I have been telling buyers this for a long time. Floor plans that have kitchen, dining and living area all combined can be hard for families. A wall separating the kitchen often times gives you more manageable living. The guest walking in the front door doesn’t necessarily see the kitchen countertop with everything and the dishes in the sink. Mini families are very busy and kids are coming and going and putting dishes in the sink and taking things out of the cupboards and leaving them on the countertop …. And mom and dad are going many different directions just to keep up with everyone. I think the ideal floor plan has a separation between the kitchen and living room area. What do you think?
