SH-41 & Poleline Wastewater Improvements Project Begins August 3
Starting August 3, the City of Post Falls will begin a wastewater improvements project at SH-41 and Poleline Avenue. The project is expected to continue through September 30, 2026 and will be completed in phases.
What to expect during the current phase (Aug. 3–16):
• Northbound SH-41 will be reduced to one lane from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Two northbound lanes will remain open during daytime hours.
• Left turns from northbound SH-41 onto westbound Poleline will be restricted during Phase 3 work.
• Left turns from westbound Poleline onto southbound SH-41 will be restricted during phase 3 work.
• Right turns from northbound SH-41 onto eastbound Poleline will be restricted during Phase 2 work.
This project will replace approximately 250 feet of gravity sewer main to improve the City's wastewater infrastructure and correct a low point in the existing sewer system.
Please plan ahead, use caution when traveling through the work zone, and watch for crews and equipment.
