Not every real estate transaction is sunshine, rainbows, and rose-colored glasses. 🏡🌈

Sometimes… life is just sh*tty. And sometimes real estate decides to pile on. 😂

Let me tell you about Jon & Becky.

A few months ago, they sold their home. Everything was packed, they had moved into their camper for what was supposed to be a fun summer adventure, and we were scheduled to close on a Monday morning.

Then Sunday night, the unimaginable happened — their buyer passed away.

Obviously, there are things much bigger than real estate, and our hearts went out to the buyer’s family. But it also meant Jon & Becky’s closing was suddenly pushed out another 30 days.

Meanwhile… they’re still living in the camper. 😬

What was supposed to be a summer adventure started feeling a little more like:

“Are we ever going to live in a house again?” 😂

Fast-forward THREE MONTHS…

Their new construction home is ready, we can finally see the finish line, and we’re supposed to close.

Except… we’re waiting on the appraisal. 🤦‍♀️

Because apparently this transaction needed just ONE MORE lesson in patience. 😂

But TODAY…

🎉 JON & BECKY FINALLY GET TO MOVE INTO THEIR NEW HOME!!! 🎉

Real estate isn’t always pretty. Closings don’t always happen when they’re supposed to. Things happen that nobody can predict or control, and sometimes you just have to keep working through one curveball after another until you finally get everyone across the finish line.

And these two have handled ALL OF IT with more patience and grace than most people could.

So today feels EXTRA GOOD. ❤️
