An original stone monument from the 1880's up Johnson Creek, outside of Superior, MT. Notice the single notch part way up the stone. This means it's one mile west of the range line.

The oldest brass cap I have found from the GLO (predecessor to the BLM). This was found up Boundary Creek, just south of the Canadian border.
