If you haven’t heard… Meagan Mylan and I are doing something pretty fun for our clients. 🥂🏡
On September 12th, we’re hosting a VIP North Idaho Parade of Homes experience—because why just tour beautiful homes when you can make an entire day out of it?
We’re kicking things off with brunch bites + mimosas thanks to House of Brunch, then hopping into a stretch Hummer limo for a luxury ride around the North Idaho Building Contractors Association Parade of Homes to tour some of this year’s new construction and beautiful homes around the Coeur d’Alene / North Idaho area.

I got to visit The Agency Las Vegas office yesterday. They had such a great office vibe! And it helps when you get a VIP tour of the area from one of their coolest agents - LAS VEGAS RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE thank you 🫶🏼

I can honestly say I learned so much from this Pend Oreille River excursion. HUGE shout out to Ruth Walker at the Willow Bay North Restaurant & Bar restaurant + marina and Captain Ron for the hospitality.

What did I learn?
1) The river is sooo much wider and calmer than . Great if you're into surfing 😉
2) It's a VERY quick and easy boat ride into .
3) The water feels 2 degrees colder than
4) The waterfront houses on the riverside are 🔥
5) Real estate pricing is less expensive than the CDA and Sandpoint markets, but there's still some very expensive luxury homes there.
6) Rumor has it that StanCraft Marine Center StanCraft Construction Group will be building a new marina and housing development nearby.
7) There's some brand new entry level homes for mid $400's that qualify for USDA loans. You could own a home for under $1,000/mo mortgage payments!

My takeaway? If you're looking to invest I would highly consider the Priest River / Pend Oreille market. Get in on the more affordable prices while you can 😉

It's starting to look Resort-ish. This new building will be the extension of the and is currently the view from the office I lease within the downtown. Minus the jack hammer vibrations and construction parking, it's been amazing to watch this take shape. I know locals have mixed reviews on the expansion, but regardless, it's incredible to see what humans are capable of building.

*Just to clarify, I rent an office at the Chamber for real estate. I don't actually work for the Chamber, just within it ;)

I've been in real estate since 2013. I know how to help people buy and sell real estate. I've got it down. What I am now determined to do is beyond being a Realtor. I want to be an ambassador for our town. I want to know every nook and cranny in the place we choose to live, work, and play.

For example, if you know where this GORGEOUS garden-like place is, bravo. I have heard of it, but honestly had never been. Growing up here I certainly have an advantage, but things are always changing. A few of us agents went exploring yesterday and it was completely worth it!

If you don't know where this is, then you should call me for a backstory. Or, if you're a Realtor, just join The Agency where we will be training to be ambassadors, not just Realtors ;)

Full disclosure, I don't always go to realtor networking events. I love catching up with cohorts, but it's hard to squeeze it in sometimes. However, when your friend says 'come to my event and learn about luxury residencies in Cabo', you show up.

I learned about buying property in Mexico and also made a great Realtor connection who grew up there and knows all there is to know about the area! I know manyyyyy people who travel to Cabo for a sunshine trip mid-winter, so if you want to invest there give me a call and I can introduce you to my new resource!

I now understand why people on the outside think being a Realtor is glamorous. Just some awesome people taking a wooden boat ride with cocktails in the middle of a work day to go research luxury developments in summertime. Yep, I get it.

Side note: if you want to buy property in a luxury development with privacy and lake vibes...give me a call. I know the perfect place ;)
