The housing market is starting to shift, and it’s a good time for buyers to take notice! With interest rates dropping, homeownership is becoming more affordable, and we’re seeing more buyer activity.
Rates are at their lowest since mid-December, and even a small dip can bring more buyers back into the market, which means a bit more competition.

In CDA, homes averaged 120 days on the market last month, but things are starting to pick up. Well-priced, move-in-ready homes are even seeing multiple offers again. While bidding wars may not be everywhere, they’re definitely still happening when the right home comes along.

At the end of February, mortgage rates hit their lowest level in over two months, with 30-year rates at 6.31% and 15-year rates at 5.63%. This drop, paired with improving inventory, makes it a great time for buyers to consider their options.

In a changing market, having the right agent can make all the difference. Whether it’s finding off-market deals or crafting the perfect offer, a thoughtful strategy can help you navigate this competitive environment.
