Something to keep an eye on with regards to some new taxation in the pipeline. They are looking to begin taxing on unrealized (capital) gains. This means that if you own a home worth $500k and it appreciates to $700K in the last year, you could be looking at $60k to $100k in taxes!!!! So, don't be fooled when they said the new budget bill is "free". This could be a detrimental move and one that could cripple real estate and destroy any wealth you may realize from RE.

I saw this graphic yesterday, it's absolutely crazy.... Loggers didn't stop logging and mills didn't shut down for Covid, so someone is making a butt ton of money.
