Maris grew up in Athens, Georgia before earning her degree in Communications from Towson University in Baltimore, MD. Her early career in Country Club Management and Event Coordination inspired a deep love for design and creating beautiful, functional spaces. After returning home to Athens, she studied Interior Design at a local technical school, combining her creative background with technical expertise. With experience spanning upholstery, textiles, window treatments, and custom cabinetry design, Maris brings a well-rounded perspective and years of hands-on knowledge to every project she undertakes!

What a great day yesterday getting to meet a large contengency of the Carter family! I did not meet Elizabeth (a doll with a past) but met the others and even got a picture with them. What an honor to have them stay in the house!
