As an artist and photographer, Claudia has a keen eye for design, color and space. Claudia understands her community and its needs, and has a strong dedication to serving her community. As an involved parent, she had served on the board of the Sea Cliff Parent Community Association for 5 years, served as chair of multiple events, and is the Vice President of the North Shore Arts Angels, a not-for-profit educational foundation established to expand the role of and support arts education. She also spearheaded the district-wide Parent University program at the K-5 level to teach parents common core mathematics as a means to provide support for their child. The program has recently grown to include several other subjects. On a lighter note, Claudia loves photography and painting, pushes herself to participate in 5K runs, 10 mile cycling races, has participated in the 2015 Tough Mudder, is in a monthly book club, and as a total foodie, loves to cook up a feast and also support her local restaurant businesses!
