Facade and home repair grants are now available in Newport.

The City of Newport is partnering with ReNewport and Habitat for Humanity to help residents and business owners invest in stronger homes, improved storefronts, and a more vibrant community.

Residential repair grants will be administered by Habitat for Humanity and accepted on a rolling basis.

Business facade grants will be jointly administered by ReNewport and the City, with Round 1 applications due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026.

It’s time for some spring cleaning! 🧹 Bring your unwanted items and help keep Campbell County beautiful.

📅 May 8 & 9
⏰ 8 AM – 5 PM

📍 Drop-Off Locations:
• Frederick’s Landing – 100 Frederick’s Landing, Wilder
• Pendery Park – 4113 Williams Lane, Melbourne
• Campbell County Road Department – 1175 Racetrack Road, Alexandria, Kentucky

✅ Accepted Items:
• Furniture
• Mattresses
• Yard debris
• Trash & debris
• Electronics (limit 1 TV)

At the Road Department location only, you can also bring:
• Appliances (Freon OK)
• Scrap metal (fluids removed)
• Lead-acid batteries
• Propane tanks
• Tires (limit 8, rims OK)

⚠️ Not Accepted:
Paint, liquids, junk vehicles/boats/trailers, hazardous waste, fluorescent bulbs/tubes, dirt, concrete, rocks, tanks/cylinders.

ℹ️ Residents only – please bring a photo ID or proof of residency.
🚚 Participants must unload their own vehicles (limited assistance available).
