Eastex Title Company is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Entry Associate / Receptionist to join our team in Coldspring.
This position plays a vital role in our daily operations and is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced office environment.
What You'll Do:
✅ Enter title and escrow orders into our system
✅ Review contracts and documents for accuracy
✅ Answer phones and greet customers
✅ Communicate with clients, realtors, lenders, and other title companies
✅ Process paperwork, scan documents, and manage files
✅ Perform occasional local errands to county offices, banks, and the post office
✅ Provide outstanding customer service every day
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
✔ Detail-oriented and highly accurate
✔ Friendly and professional
✔ Dependable with excellent attendance
✔ Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office
✔ A self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
✔ Committed to providing exceptional customer service
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Prior title company or Softpro experience is a plus, but not required

You may have started hearing the word “FinCEN” more often in real estate conversations. So what is it?

FinCEN stands for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Their job? To protect the U.S. financial system from money laundering, fraud, and illicit activity.

What Does That Have to Do with Texas Real Estate?
In recent years, FinCEN has increased reporting requirements tied to:
• Certain LLC or trust purchases
• High-value residential purchases
• Suspicious transaction reporting
Title companies (like ours) are required to collect and report specific information in qualifying transactions.

What Buyers & Realtors Should Expect
You may notice:
✔ Requests for additional identification
✔ Questions about beneficial ownership of LLCs
✔ Extra documentation in certain cash transactions
✔ Additional compliance forms
This is normal and required.
