🏡 TITLE TIP TUESDAY! 🏡

“Okay, I signed the purchase agreement… NOW WHAT?” 👀

This is where things really start moving behind the scenes!

Once the purchase agreement is signed, there are a LOT of moving pieces getting put into place:

📄 The title company gets the order and starts working on the file.

🔍 We begin the title search to research the property and look for anything that may need to be addressed.

🏦 The lender gets to work on the buyer’s loan and sends over the information we need for closing.

💰 Earnest money is handled according to the terms of the purchase agreement.

📋 We gather information and documents from the parties involved and work through the requirements needed to get the transaction ready for closing.

🤝 Everyone stays in communication—buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys and the title company—to keep everything moving toward the closing table.

And eventually…

📅 Closing day arrives! 🎉

“Why do I need to bring my ID to closing?” 🤔

Because we need to verify that you are actually you! 😂

When you come to the closing table, we need to verify your identity before you sign important legal documents.

🔑 What should you bring?

👉 A valid, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport.

Your ID helps us make sure the documents are being signed by the correct person and helps protect you and everyone involved in the transaction. 🛡️

And trust us—you don’t want to make it all the way to closing and realize your ID is sitting on the kitchen counter. 😅
