I had the CUTEST assistant with me today . . . Miss Delaney K. She got all dressed up, did her own makeup! We made a whole day out of it… stopped for office snacks, made a little coffee run or shall I say coffee walk across the street from my office to Rooster Joe! She ordered a “kid coffee” and picked out a cinnamon croissant as big as her face 😂 She brought her trusty orange briefcase packed full of crafts (very important business, obviously), and we jammed out to My Jesus by Anne Wilson on repeat the whole drive 🎶

I asked her if she had anything to do today and she said,
“Definitely need to write notes to my clients.” 😂

And in between mama answering calls and emails, she was so patient the entire day 🤍 At one point I asked her what she wants to be when she grows up… and she said, “Mom, I just want to be a kid. That’s all.”

Later I told her she has such a good memory, and without missing a beat she said,
“That’s because I eat Smarties… they make you smart.” 😂

If only life really was that simple.

I’m forever thankful for a job that allows me to bring my kids along and show them what hard work really looks like. None of this would ever be possible without my clients who support me day in and day out. THANKFUL is an understatement! 🙏🩷😊
