I have over thirty years of photography experience and have recently started a successful freelance photography business. I am a think-on-my-feet creative with the experience to be the photographer for myriad photographic situations. I have the eye of a photojournalist with the ability to quickly solve photographic situations with photos that tell a story as well as being photographically sound. I

’ve been a photographer for over 30 years, many of them as a news photojournalist, shooting sports, portraits, events, as well as being a college photojournalism instructor for over ten years. I am available for any kind of photographic need, including on-location portraiture (families, graduate, corporate, sports, etc.), events (corporate, graduation parties, colleges, weddings, etc.), news, public relations, sports (leagues, portrait, action, teams), and product photography. For real estate, I have a Matterport camera and can produce 3D tours of homes. I can, as well, photograph the interiors of homes with professional lighting. I do not own a drone yet, but I plan to after the Matterport is paid off. The rates are on my website that you can either find online or after you decide to hire me.

Moments before the sunrise, I got a dense fog weather alert. I looked outside and there was no fog to see. 5 minutes later, it rolled in and when the sun started to rise, the mountains glowed.

I was assigned to be the PR photographer at the for this year. It was quite a privilege that I really enjoyed, covering by foot and , accruing over 25k steps and 13 miles, or 23 miles depending on which app I look at. My 30 years as a pays off over and over. I love photography!

A friend of mine showed me a motion-blur image he recently shot that impressed me so I have it a try. I tried to replicate his idea and wasn’t happy with the results but I didn’t stop experimenting. I’ve done motion blur several times, but I actually surprised myself with this shot when I got my intended car sharp but the inside car that is closer to me is so out of focus from motion blur. .racing

The commonality between these three photos is that the photographer is the same. Two with a , two with 70-200/2.8, and one from the point of view of a DJI Air 2S.

One is the from in Los Angeles of band members with All-Star Orchestra lead by who had red, white and blue lighting.

Next is an aerial of sunrise at before the start of a bike race I was there to photograph.

The third is a lens test of photos of my dog with her favorite toy. I had to replace the aperture which my repair guy at told me wore out.

The West Walker River as the sun casts the best light ever on the hills in the distance. Lucky shot after several attempts using a cell phone while traveling at about 45 mph sometimes catching a shot at a bad angle or a little late. This one was as if the photo gods who match up great photo moments with the lensman attempting the shot finally succeeded.
