Jambo, was a trooper last night! He supervised the 71 people (our Still Creek Family) that received gifts (roughly about 115 gifts given total.) Then he crashed! He was barking for me come pick him up and put on the bed, because he did not have the energy to get up there!

He loves his Still Creek Family!!

Thank you to all who donated to make this night extravagant!

Jennifer thinks there was over 120 people at our house!!

We Loved every minute of it!!

"It is with sincere enthusiasm that I support Jarvis Parsons’ in his campaign for re-election to a third term as Brazos County’s District Attorney.

Since he began serving as Assistant D.A. for 10 years prior to stepping into Brazos County’s elected Chief Prosecutor’s position in 2013, I have personally witnessed D.A. Parsons’ dedication to seeking justice for citizens of our county – both in the courtroom and through his community service across the county. When re-elected to a third term, maintaining his commitment in both arenas is sure to remain a high priority for D.A. Parsons.

Whether it be prosecuting state jail felonies or the most challenging of death penalty cases, D.A. Parsons has led and worked diligently alongside his Brazos County prosecution teams and always with the goal to bring the most impactful and just verdicts for the citizens they represent.

Locally, what an enlightening experience it was to have participated in one of D.A. Parsons’ strongest commitments to citizens’ engagement: the “Brazos County Citizens Prosecutor’s Academy.” The multi-week program allows citizens to meet with and hear first-hand how all the separate positions within the D.A.’s office, and all with different responsibilities, work together with other agencies to bring effective outcomes. Also, for more than a decade, I had the privilege to serve with D.A. Parsons on the Board of “Scotty’s House,” the Brazos Valley Child Advocacy Center. The passion shown from his board position to seek justice for abused children was as apparent as his passion shown regularly as a prosecutor in the courtroom. D.A. Parsons’ commitment as a victims’ advocate who need a “voice” through their judicial processes is also evident in his serving on the “Governor’s Sexual Assault Task Force,” tackling sexual assault crises in a survivors-centered framework, forming a domestic violence prosecution unit, and starting the “Cut It Out” program for hairstylists to recognize signs of domestic violence in their clients and refer to the local women’s shelter."

"It is my great honor and privilege to offer my support for Brazos County District Attorney Jarvis Parsons in his Re-Election bid to serve his 4th term. Our friendship began through our spouses in 2002 while serving together at a local church. We connected immediately with him being originally from Lake Charles, LA and me being from Singer, LA. Through the years, our friendship has become very dear to my family, and my life is blessed beyond measure.

Jarvis is one of the most genuine people that I know! He is a great District Attorney, but he is a greater person. His faith in God, his devotion to his family, and his commitment to the duties of the office of District Attorney and his community are second to none. Jarvis has the uncommon ability to lead and inspire others and to make difficult decisions, and his work ethic is unmatched. He always goes to his knees and seeks God’s wisdom and advice. Numerous times throughout his tenure as District Attorney, he and I have met in the DA offices and walked through and prayed over each desk of his staff members. Jarvis never mentions names but he has had me pray over the families of people being prosecuted, and for God to be with them in that difficult situation.

It has been said that a rising tide raises all ships. Jarvis Parsons and his staff is that tide. There will be other’s that will endorse him that will talk more about his accolades that he has accomplished and his state and national awards and recognition. I wanted to share my heart about Jarvis and his unyielding commitment of being fair and honest and answering the call to make Brazos County a safer place for all.

Jarvis’s prosecution records speak for itself, his conservative values reflect his heart, and his desire that everyone get a fair trial and be prosecuted to the letter of the law are just a few of the reasons why I and my wife support Jarvis Parsons in his Re-Elected for Brazos County District Attorney."
