Is the Bryan-College Station housing market slowing down?
Not exactly.
What we're seeing is a market that's becoming more balanced.
Brazos County now has 5.4 months of inventory, giving buyers more options than they've had in several years. At the same time, well-priced homes are still selling and sellers are continuing to achieve strong results.
My biggest takeaway from the May market data:
📈 More inventory doesn't mean buyers have all the power.
🏡 Sellers can still be successful with the right pricing and strategy.
⚖️ The market is moving toward balance rather than extremes.
If you're thinking about buying, selling, investing, or helping an Aggie student find housing, understanding what these numbers actually mean is more important than the numbers themselves.
I break down the latest Brazos County market trends in the blog.
