Q: Do I need perfect credit to buy a home?

A: NOPE 🙂‍↔️

Perfect credit is a great achievement 👏 however it is not a requirement. Most loans have a minimum of 620 to qualify.

Q: how much money do I need to buy a house!?

A: depends on the location, how much you want your mortgage to be, and market

1. Location: home price averages vary from town to town. Where you want to live or are able to live can impact your affordability or how much you need to save to purchase a home.

2. Someone might say you ONLY need $5,000 to buy a house, but that could leave you with a high mortgage. So would you rather put more money down to have a better mortgage or less money down and pay a higher mortgage?

3. Buyers market = more room for negotiations, including asking for a sellers assist
Sellers market = less room for negotiating price and seller assists

If you want to know what’s right for you, talking to a lender is the best course of action!
