**What happens when you find the perfect home...but someone else buys it first?**
That's exactly what happened to my clients.
After they discovered the home they loved had already sold, I suggested another option: **What if we built it instead?**
The first step was reaching out to the builder's team to see if recreating that floor plan was even possible. Fortunately, the answer was yes!
From there, we began looking at available lots. Since this home has a walk-out basement, not just any lot would work. Once we found the right one, we met with the builder to walk through the process, discuss the timeline, and coordinate the sale of my clients' current home with the estimated completion of their new one.
While this isn't a fully custom home, they'll still get to make it their own by selecting finishes like flooring, cabinets, lighting, and more—all within the builder's design options and budget. It's a great balance between personalization and simplicity, without the stress of making hundreds of decisions.
Today, construction is officially underway! 🏗️
Over the coming months, I'll be sharing the journey—from an empty lot...to excavation...to framing...and finally handing over the keys to a beautiful new home.
