JR’s Music Store & More in Martinsville is so much more than a place to buy instruments. From guitars and band equipment to private lessons, recording, and helping the next generation discover a love for music, this place is such a gift to our community. 🎸🎹🎤

We were especially blown away by the vocal lessons and the incredible talent of the Family 5 Gospel Singers who call this place home. Seriously… Martinsville has some amazing talent!

Looking for a fun family day in Southern Virginia? We spent the day at the Danville Science Center and had an absolute blast! The new Curious George exhibit is interactive, hands-on, and packed with activities that kept the kids engaged from start to finish. It’s one more reason we love exploring everything this area has to offer.

We stepped into the butterfly exhibit at Danville Science Center and honestly it felt like walking into another world. 🦋

Beautiful butterflies flying all around and pure wonder for both kids and adults. These are the kind of simple experiences that end up becoming core memories.

If you’re looking for a fun family outing, this one is absolutely worth the trip.

We spent the day exploring Natural Bridge State Park and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The massive natural bridge, the peaceful trails, the sound of the creek, and the beautiful mountain scenery made this one of our favorite Virginia adventures yet.

Places like this remind us why we love living in Virginia. There is always something incredible to explore just down the road. 🌿🏔️
