The past couple of days were not without its fair share of challenges, but you have to try and figure out how to roll with the punches this career hands you or the stress will drive you off the deep end. I can at least say CONGRATULATIONS to my buyers, Sandra and Tyler and their entire family. One of my buyers is unfortunately in the hospital, so when we got to the final walk-through, I learned that their laptop had crashed and they weren't able to get their closing docs signed. So I stepped back for a bit to formulate a plan of action. I canceled another meeting I was headed to and drove across the city to get my own laptop in order to then drive to the hospital and help them get their docs signed. They had a wonderful lending team consisting of Cole Simmons who helped get the job done and we all saw them successfully through to the closing table. Tyler, Sandra, Tiphany and extended family, WELCOME TO COLORADO. We're happy to have you!

A holiday weekend? What's that?😉

Yesterday was a whirlwind. It was off to an incredible start when I was able to get my sellers under contract after only 2 days on the market! CONGRATULATIONS Lori and Trent🎉
Next, I was off to Parker for a photo shoot for an upcoming listing and then back to Colorado Springs for an inspection for one of my buyers.

My beautiful Mom was definitely speaking to me yesterday. Up in Parker, I ran to Ace to make a key copy for a listing and found a planter that was a camel. Mom loved camels, and she loved plants! Then later that day in a different checkout lane, I looked up and saw a "chin up" card. Whenever I was down, Mom would always say "chin up". It would honestly drive me nuts, but I always tell people I would give anything to hear her say that now and yesterday she did.💖

I often feel there are so many professionals who stay in the game too long and should retire when they are performing at their best. Maybe with a review like this, I should retire. False alert! Not quite yet😂.
Thank you to my amazing friends and clients for a review that literally brought me to tears. You might think it's easy getting an excellent review from a friend. My belief is the exact opposite. Friends can often be and should be your toughest critics.

Another closing on the books for a beautiful family! Congratulations Steven and Yvette and to your wonderful daughters as well. And welcome back to colorful Colorado!

This one had its fair share of challenges. My buyers chose their own lender versus one of my preferred lenders which is ultimately fine, but it came at the cost of a lot of stress. Make sure you have a Realtor who isn’t going to tolerate complacency from any parties involved in the transaction and is willing to have the tough confrontational conversations when necessary. Without that, we would have never seen the closing table today but thankfully, we came sliding into home plate just in the nick of time.
