Good Morning, Colorado Springs! Who has been enjoying the gorgeous weather this week?? Unfortunately, it looks to be a little colder this next week -- ahhh, the False Spring always gets me!

So many wonderful events happening around town this weekend: Saturday is Mad Hatter Day in OCC -- Alice in Wonderland, tea parties, and fun galore! The Switchbacks have a home game at 3:00 Saturday and it's the final weekend for the Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Fine Arts Center.

Good morning, Colorado Springs! It finally feels like a full weekend of Fall weather and some of you might even see snow!

So many great events happening this weekend - I have a full page and a half dedicated to Fall Festivals/Halloween/Trunk or Treat events. Tonight, we have Boo at the Zoo and Boo! at Bear Creek Nature Center (both events are ticketed events, so get online and snag a few tickets) or if you want an indoor activity, to watch Edward Scissorhands playing at Meanwhile Block. Tomorrow might be a little cooler, but grab a hot cocoa and check out Pumpkins in the Park in OCC or the Giant Pumpkin Festival at Smith Farms. So many fun events that are perfect to celebrate the Fall season.

Good morning, Colorado Springs, and Happy Friday! Hopefully this Friday the 13th will be a great one and not particularly too scary 😁

We've got another round of really great events happening all weekend. Here are my personal Top 3:

1. The Best of the Wing Fest: Saturday from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry. You don't want to miss out on this event! Live Music, Local Brews, Games, and Wings. What more could you ask for? Get your tix here: https://www.bestofthewestwingfest.com/

2. Prefer wine over wings?? Check out the Palmer Lake Wine Festival on Saturday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Palmer Lake Recreation Area. Enjoy live music and wine tastings from over 25 Colorado wineries all while surrounded by the gorgeous views you find at Palmer Lake. More info here: https://www.palmerlakewinefestival.com

3. Movie in the Park at Pi-Ute Park happens tonight at dusk (roughly 6:30 pm). They are playing my all-time favorite movie "E.T." and will have themed activities, food trucks, and lots of fun. E.T. is the first movie I ever got to see in the theaters -- anyone else have such fond memories of this movie??

In this is a bummer news, a downtown staple is closing its doors on Sunday. Wild Goose Meeting House will host its final live music night tonight at 8:00 pm. It's a great time to stop by and enjoy the place one last time (Also, I heard they were selling books for $1; not sure if that's still happening but might be worth checking out!)

Good morning, Colorado Springs! Hope you all had a safe and happy 4th of July. Hopefully, many of you are able to enjoy an extended holiday weekend!

This weekend promises to be a good one around Colorado Springs. Tonight is First Friday Artwalk with many venues participating in downtown COS, Manitou Springs, and OCC. I want to check out Miramont Castle and their "Margaritas, Munchies, and Memories" exhibit tonight. Tomorrow is the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade on Tejon Rd, starting at 10:00 am, and the start of the Broadmoor Traditions Fine Arts Festival at Colorado Springs School. Not to mention the fun Summer Concerts tonight and the beautiful Farmers' Markets around town tomorrow. Hope you can have something fun to do!

Good morning, Colorado Springs, and welcome to the weekend! Many great events happening around town this weekend, including the Kite Festival at Falcon Regional Park, the Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival at America the Beautiful Park, a local Father's Day comedy show at Manhattan Tapas, and a Fathers Day Market at Soda Springs Park. There are also several outdoor concerts taking place tonight and many farmers markets to enjoy tomorrow.

Good Morning, Colorado Springs! What a beautiful morning it is!!

My favorite meteorologist (Cody @ Denver & Front Range Weather) says we should have sun today and tomorrow BUT there is a high fire danger. Use caution out there and don't do anything dumb! Instead, go participate in one of the many awesome events happening around our city this weekend. There's so much fun to be had!

Good morning, Colorado Springs! It's finally the weekend - and it should be a beautiful one! Lots of great Fall activities happening this weekend, from the Smith Farms Giant pumpkin festival to Pumpkins in the Park at OCC.

Ready for Halloween? Check out the Haunted Lantern Tour at Cave of the Winds or the Family Fall Crawl at Evergreen Cemetery or the Ghost Walking Tours in Manitou Springs.

The undefeated Air Force football have an away game against the Navy this weekend but CC Hockey has two games at Ed Robson Arena, and our Broncos play at home on Sunday (Is this something to celebrate??).

Downtown is hosting MADE on Saturday to celebrate local artists, and Millibo Art Theatre is hosting a fun comedy show.

So many fun events around town. Hope you all can enjoy your weekend!
