Listen, I love Zillow for scrolling through houses I have absolutely no intention of buying just as much as the next person 😂 BUT when it comes to determining what your home is actually worth, a Zestimate isn’t the same thing as a professional market analysis.

Zillow is working with an algorithm and available data. It doesn’t walk through your house. It doesn’t know that you remodeled the kitchen, replaced the roof, or that your neighbor’s house hasn’t been updated since 1997. It also can’t fully account for things like condition, upgrades, location within the neighborhood, buyer demand, or what’s happening in our local market RIGHT NOW.

That’s where a real estate professional comes in. (Insert my expertise here 😊)

I look at comparable sales, current competition, your home’s specific features and condition, neighborhood trends, and what buyers are actually willing to pay — then use all of that to help determine a realistic market value.

So use Zillow to browse. Use the Zestimate as a starting point. But when you’re actually thinking about selling? Cal someone who knows the market, not just the algorithm. To make it even easier call me 😊 719-659-4466
