The market is not the same as 6 months ago. The power is returning back to buyers and if you have been interested in purchasing a home it may be a great idea to talk with a local agent and lender!

That said we still managed to get my client's multiple offers and accepted one over-asking price!

The days of homes selling themselves are over and the agents who became licensed thinking this was an easy job are slowly leaving the game.

Hey Everyone!
Some of you may have seen on my personal profile I'll be moving back home to Texas and are probably wondering what that means for me as a licensed Colorado realtor?

Well I want to assure my clients here I will continue to maintain my license and do transactions in Colorado and have travel planned accordingly!

As for Texas I will be getting my Texas Real Estate relatively soon and will be primarily servicing the DFW metroplex!

I'm super excited to bring my experience from one of the hottest markets in the US to my home state and work with friends and family!

For all those that have supported me in this business I'm beyond grateful and looking forward to the next chapter in life!

A common question I get is “should I remodel, paint, fix up, etc.. my home before selling it?”
Well, the answer is, “it depends!”

We are still in a seller's market and a lot of times the small amount of equity gained for the cost of the project and the time it takes is not worth it.

That said if it has been years since your home has been renovated and you have the budget and time to make the updates it could equate to a much larger return at closing.

The biggest deciding factor will be what comparable properties that have been updated have sold for as well as what updates you want to make!

How do you find out what they sold for and what updates bring the biggest return? Well, you talk with a local Real estate agent about it of course!
