Important property tax deadlines are coming up for eligible El Paso County homeowners.

The El Paso County Assessor’s Office is reminding residents that the Senior Homestead Exemption deadline is July 15, with late applications accepted through August 15. Eligible homeowners may also still submit a late application for the Qualified Senior Property Tax Discount through July 15.

The Assessor’s Office is also sharing information for property owners whose homes have been damaged or destroyed by wildfire, including potential property tax relief.
