In honor of Halloween, here are 5 ghost towns, any of which can be all yours! Most of these towns were thriving at one time and filled with people, but over the years they have been abandoned and are eerily quiet. One of them is in our own backyard and has been featured before in my weekly email as a potential business opportunity.

The word "bungalow" comes from a 17th century Hindi word, and these homes are immensely popular in the United States. The craftsman bungalow, known for its statement woodwork and handcrafted interior and exterior details, became popular with the Arts and Crafts movement.

As part of the Federal Housing Finance Agency's push for more affordable housing, homebuyers with good credit will soon have to pay higher mortgage rates and fees when the new rule goes into effect on May 1st.
