Good morning world,
I’ve never done a fundraising event before (with the exception of selling candy bars for school) and to be honest with you, I wish I wasn’t doing it right now. It doesn’t give me feel good vibes and I wish this was for a different cause.
You see, a dear friend of mine, Lacy, just laid to rest her firstborn son who passed away suddenly from an accident. While I cannot imagine that type of grief, I can empathize.
So I’ve decided to round up help to just put dinner on the table. I’m from the South, food is our love language, and it’s one less thing for her to worry about while she mourns the boy who made her a mommy. If you cannot give that’s ok! We don’t have empty pocketbooks. If you could share this I would be extremely grateful.
