NEW MEXICO AND COLORADO SNOW❄️🏔️heavy rain and flooding is a major concern across New Mexico and southern Colorado later today, continuing into Wednesday and Thursday, but this rain will fall as snow in the mountains above 12,000 feet in northern New Mexico and southern and central Colorado. The heaviest snow will fall in the Colorado San Juans in southwestern Colorado where half a foot is possible for the highest peaks❄️🏔️

To meet the power needs of existing and future customers, Colorado Springs Utilities is preparing to build a power generation station fueled by natural gas on land CSU already owns to the southeast of Fountain.

CSU has scheduled a public meeting for 4:30-6:30 at the Fountain library on Tuesday, September 15 to provide more information to property owners in the area.

It’s back! Once again, a city agency is proposing to extend four-lanes-wide Constitution Avenue from Paseo Road along the old Rock Island railroad tracks through Monument Valley Park and connect it to Interstate 25 at the West Fontanero Street interchange.
