A client recently gifted me this drawing of five penguins from one of her favorite local artists and it warmed my heart immediately because I know penguins symbolize resilience and adaptability. And the challenges they faced in selling their home clearly required some resilience and a lot of adaptability. What I didn't know was that penguins also represent partnership and community. And when I gave the beautiful piece of artwork I was gifted more thought.... it occurred to me that this is exactly what being in real estate is all about. Resilience, adaptability, partnership and community.

This transaction had its share of hiccups. It took a lot of networking, compromising, negotiating, and, more importantly, a willingness from my clients to keep moving forward. Somehow, with teamwork and persistence, we made it to the finish line.

The note that came with this gift thanked me for my expertise, counsel, and persistence during the sale. While I sincerely appreciate those kind words, I have to give my clients credit. They never wavered from their goal, even when the road got a little bumpy. Grateful to be invited to help people achieve their dreams!
