Today we’re celebrating everything that makes our city — area code 719 — such a unique and unforgettable place to live!

Here are a few fun and quirky facts you may not know about Colorado Springs:

— Nicknamed “Little London” thanks to its English charm and influx of British tourists (and because the universe clearly has a sense of humor, I’ll be hosting an open house next Saturday on none other than… Little London Drive!)

— Boasting one of the most breathtaking backyards in the country — hello, Garden of the Gods!
— And yes… we're unofficially in the running for the Guinness World Record for potholes per capita

What better way to honor Colorado Springs on 719 Day than a study ranking us as the 14th most BORING city in the nation!?

During our COS Community Walk this week, I ran into Mackenzie Stafford KRDO 13 who was out on Tejon Street chatting with locals about how they feel being ranked between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Louisville, Kentucky!
