All gave some, some gave all.

Memorial Day isn’t a day to be happy about. It’s a day of remembrance, appreciation and respect.

Today we remember those that are no longer with us.

Less than 1% of our population write a blank check for their lives to defend and protect our nation and our way of life.

Many have served and died in battle so that we can have that bbq and that brewski without a single worry about that freedom.

My family has (8) veterans in it.

(2) have passed that I’m remembering today:

Three years ago, selling a home didn’t require you to be a full-time content creator.

Now? It feels like if you’re not filming, posting, and chasing the next viral hit… you’re invisible.

Somewhere along the way, the game shifted:�Quality took a backseat to consistency.�Wisdom got drowned out by popularity.�And real knowledge? Replaced by noise.

Birthday week for my beautiful bride… and I keep coming back to how incredibly blessed I am to share this life with her.

She’s breathtaking in every way…. not just for her beauty, but for the heart she carries, the love she gives, and the strength she shows every single day.

She pours so much into others, and it meant everything to me to watch her take time this week to simply be… to let go, to breathe, and to be cared for the way she truly deserves.

We tried several new things together this week…. ate at Totem, Brinkerhoff and our newest favorite … Cowboy Star… so delish!

We tried a new dish at Bucks N Blue, spent time in Black Hawk, stayed at Monarch, and even tried our luck at the Horseshoe.

We soaked up the sun at Evergreen Lake and made sure to stop by our all-time favorite shop, Mountain Home.

But more than anything, it was the moments in between…. the good conversations, the quiet, the giggles, the stress we let go of, and the memories we made….. this all meant the most to me.

Loving you is the greatest gift of my life. I’ll never stop being grateful for you, or for us.

Buying an older home on the Front Range? The below text helped solidify any concerns:

“We should schedule a phone call to discuss slightly older homes, particularly those located closer to the Front Range.

Homes nearer to the Front Range typically have higher concentrations of bentonite in the soil. (which is part of the clay family)…. This type of soil tends to shift more, which can impact a home’s foundation.

I’m extremely sensitive regarding foundations and what to look for. I have horror stories. Lol

Because of this, we will absolutely be conducting a foundation inspection, as well as a radon inspection.

I also highly recommend a roof inspection.

We will discuss strategies prior to the purchase process, for potentially having a new roof covered by insurance.

This is a proven approach that I have used….

It’s helped clients get brand-new roofs installed at no cost before they even move in. 😎

There are also additional inspections we should review for older homes, including electrical and plumbing.

All of which I have lots of experience in… so yes, a call would be helpful.”
