Some of the most expensive home problems do not begin with a big warning sign.

Those little things can affect your comfort, your monthly budget, and eventually the condition of your home.

One important safety reminder: lithium-ion batteries in phones, tablets, and laptops can become a fire risk. Once a device is charged, it is a good habit to unplug it.

Homeownership comes with a lot of moving pieces, and no one is expected to know all of them.
