Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending time outdoors camping with her husband, Thor, and loves traveling to new destinations whenever she has the opportunity. She is a proud mother and grandmother who enjoys spending time with her family. Brenda and Thor share their home with two dogs and two cats, who keep life entertaining.

Indiana real estate professionals, take note: Beginning July 1, 2026, Indiana’s Medicaid Estate Recovery rules are changing. Under House Enrolled Act 1277, the Indiana FSSA will have up to 9 MONTHS, rather than 120 days, to file claims against a deceased Medicaid recipient’s estate. This change impacts the underwriting of certain non-probate transfers, including Transfer on Death Deeds, heirship affidavits, and small estate transfers.
