🏡 A day in the life of a Northwest Montana Real Estate Broker. 🌲

And today was one of those days that reminded me just how much I love what I do.

My morning took me to Eureka for an inspection, where the views were absolutely breathtaking. But the property itself was just as fascinating — portions of the home were built using straw-bale construction, with thick walls created from compressed straw bales that provide both structure and insulation. And the best part? They incorporated the sweetest little framed “peek” into the wall so you can actually see the straw inside. How cool is that?!

Then this evening, I went from something completely unique to something beautifully historic — showing a home built in 1915. There is just something about old homes. The woodwork, craftsmanship, staircase, tiny details and character that simply can’t be recreated today. Oh goodness… they get me every single time.

And somewhere in between two incredibly different properties — each special in its own way — my phone stayed busy with calls, emails, negotiations, and scheduling appointments for the rest of this week and into the next.

Some days in real estate are spent behind a computer. Other days take you down the highway, through inspections, into century-old homes, and past views that make you stop for a second and take it all in.

Today was definitely one of the good ones. 🤍🌲

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

I hope everyone was able to enjoy an extra day off with family and friends, soaking up those final moments of summer. 🤍

We snuck away to enjoy the lake and squeeze in one final camping trip of the year—and Montana certainly gave us a beautiful send-off. 🌅🏕️

Even while we were away, I was able to get a beautiful home under contract for an incredible set of buyers and continued working throughout the weekend… because let’s be real, real estate agents don’t really get days off. 😂🏡

But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Feeling especially grateful this Labor Day for Wi-Fi that lets me work from just about anywhere, incredible clients who trust me, and a little extra time spent with the people I love.
