The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) helps low income seniors (age 60+) stay healthy by providing free monthly food boxes. 🥫💛

✅ If you live in Richland County, meet the income guidelines, and are age 60 or older, you can apply and pick up your monthly food box right here at Christian Assistance Bridge (CAB)!

South Carolina is under a State of Emergency ahead of a winter storm expected to hit Saturday into Monday, bringing a mix of snow, ice, sleet and freezing temps. Conditions can change fast — so let’s get you ready.

🏠 Home Basics

Weather-proof your house: Caulk/insulate doors & windows, weather-strip where drafts sneak in.

Protect pipes: Wrap exposed pipes, disconnect outdoor hoses, and let faucets drip if temps fall below freezing.

Check utilities: Test smoke & carbon monoxide detectors; stock extra batteries.

Gutters & roof: Clear debris so melting snow can drain and not cause ice dams or leaks.

🧤 Safety & Supplies

Emergency kit: Water, non-perishable food, flashlights, blankets, meds, pet food.

Heat sources: Know how to safely use your fireplace or alternative heat — never run generators indoors.

Limit travel: Roads will get slick fast. If you must go out, pack blankets, phone charger, snacks.
