As Mother’s Day approaches. I think I might drop some oldies but goodies. In this picture you can see my sister-in-law and Keisha, on either end, they already had kids. Yes I know they were still sexy. My sister and I, in the middle, were content being Best Aunties. No kids yet. Do you remember a time when joy, peace and happiness were effortless? Share a pic. Homeownership hits different when you know the backstory.

did not just buy a house. She stayed focused for three years, changed jobs, increased her income, and kept her eyes on the specific home she wanted. As a single mom, she showed the kind of consistency, drive, and discipline that truly inspires me.

What makes this story even more special is that while I was in Trinidad, she found the house she wanted and still refused to work with anyone else. She waited until I returned because she wanted us to finish what we started together. That kind of trust means everything.

Today I’m celebrating Diona’s House-iversary with so much pride. Her journey is proof that patience, sacrifice, and focus pay off.

Congratulations again, Diona. You earned this.

The face I make when the booking says 1 guest, but the Ring camera introduces the whole household. Hosting is not passive income. Some guests will make you work overtime and still expect you to subsidize their vacation. lol
