Deuteronomy 8:18 changed the way I see money.

The KJV says God gives us “power to get wealth.”

That word power comes from the Hebrew word koach, meaning strength, capacity, ability, or power to accomplish.

So the verse isn’t simply saying, “God will give you money.”

It’s saying He gives you the capacity to produce.

The ideas.
The discipline.
The skill.
The wisdom.
The relationships.
The opportunity.
The strength to build.

Sometimes we’re asking God to send the provision while overlooking the KOACH He already placed in us.

Maybe the prayer is less, “God, give me more.”

And more:

“God, show me how to recognize, develop, and steward the capacity You’ve already given me.”

“…for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth…”

WISDOM

Before asking God for the house, ask Him for wisdom to make sound decisions with your money.

DISCIPLINE
📖 Proverbs 21:5
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance…”
Saving for a home requires consistency, even when progress feels slow. Discipline today can create options for you tomorrow.

STRATEGY
📖 Proverbs 24:3–4
“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established…”
Homeownership doesn’t have to begin with having everything figured out. Ask God for a strategy, then take practical steps with your credit, savings, debt, and budget.

PATIENCE
📖 Habakkuk 2:3
“Though it tarry, wait for it…”
Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it isn’t coming. Give yourself permission to prepare without rushing into a financial decision you aren’t ready for.

DISCERNMENT

Being approved for a certain amount doesn’t automatically mean you should spend that amount. Ask for discernment to recognize what you can comfortably afford and sustain.

Last Night Was Special 🥹🤍

There’s something powerful about taking what God has taught you, what experience has sharpened in you, and turning around to pour it into others.

During the masterclass, we talked strategy, systems, discipline, and stewardship. But underneath all of it was one truth: when God gives you an assignment, He also gives you grace to build it, the wisdom to manage it, and the responsibility to produce from a place of obedience.

Grateful for every person who trusted me enough to sit in the room and learn. This is only the beginning. Stay tuned.

I moved to the DMV with no leads, no sphere, very little money, and absolutely NO idea what I was doing in real estate. 😭

And when I say no idea… I mean NO IDEA.

I didn’t know much about houses. HVAC? Home systems? Different property features? I was learning it ALL.

I remember thinking real estate school was going to teach me how to actually be a Realtor® and build a business.

Yeah… no.

Real estate school taught me what I needed to know to pass the exam and get licensed. But once I had that license in my hand, I quickly realized:

Getting licensed and knowing how to PRODUCE are two completely different things.

I didn’t have a huge database to call.
I didn’t have thousands of dollars to spend on leads.
I didn’t have some secret blueprint handed to me.

So I had to figure it out.

I learned how to build relationships. How to generate opportunities. How to follow up. How to structure my days. How to create systems that kept my business moving even when I wasn’t seeing immediate results.

And then I did those things over and over and over again.

Within my first two years of being licensed, I built a six-figure real estate business from scratch. 🏡

And the crazy part?

The systems I built back then are systems and principles I still work in my business TODAY.

That’s why I created FROM LICENSED TO PRODUCING.

This Thursday, I’m opening up the playbook and teaching the practical side of this business, the things I wish somebody had sat me down and taught me when I first got licensed.

Because your license gives you permission to practice real estate.

It doesn’t give you a business. You have to build one.
