I moved to Columbia and lived in several different parts of town before settling in Forest Acres for a while. We lived in the Irmo area for several years and loved our time there. Building community is important to me and I enjoy getting involved in many ways. I am active in local community efforts and organizations. I attend town council meetings and stay up to date with growth and change in the area. With my knowledge of the Midlands I am able to help buyers find a home in the area that best meets their needs. When I’m not working I love being outside in nature. I grew up in a neighborhood but right at the beginning of its development. I spent a lot of time playing in 14 mile creek and in the large woods behind our house. So while my husband (who grew up in the country) calls me a city girl, I consider myself “woodsy”. My kids and I spend a lot of time digging in the garden and tending to our small flock of chickens. We recently added Daisy and Duke, an Irish Dexter cow and bull to our homestead and have enjoyed their fun personalities. We enjoy going to Riverbanks Zoo, Saluda Shoals, and the many parks and amenities the Midlands have to offer. I’m also usually in the middle of some sort of DIY project whether it be building furniture, remodeling, painting, or adding more spaces for plants. I would love to help you buy or sell your home.
